15 June 2004:  Hello WWWs, and Wolfhound Family,

 
           Today we stood proud as we witnessed 3 heroes (two  Wolfhounds) receive the purple heart medal.  Our 1/27 soldiers that received the purple heart are PFC Sullivan from HHC (left in first photo, and SGT Fix from Alpha Company (right on first photo).  The third soldier is PFC Holmes from 25th Transportation.   General Campbell gave an excellent speech!  I thank all of the WWWs that were in attendance today for the ceremony!  It really was a great ceremony!   I am very proud of our two Wolfhounds!!!   God bless, Lynn
